The Church of The Holy Trinity is an Anglo- Catholic Mission in the United States. We are Located in Kermit, WV. Sunday Mass 5pm Wed Evensong 6pm
Holy Trinity is a Community of Anglicans centered upon the Eucharist and the Sacraments of the Church. We are Liturgically Traditional and Socially Inclusive. Like that of the Early Church we are a community of Christians that focus upon the teachings of Christ and the bond of community. Our Liturgy is that of Western, and Eastern Orthodoxy, and use of Traditional Rites of the Eastern and Western Church. We seek to retain the "Old Paths" and walk in their knowledge while refraining from the many Various Social Agendas that plague and divide the Church. We are not Structured to seclude individuals because of Race,Gender, Social Status, or Sexual Orientation, but invite all to come to the arms of our crucified Lord.

In light of recent events in the United Methodist Church, Holy Trinity Anglican Church wants to affirm and welcome All of Gods people especially the LGBTQ community during this time of further hurt, coming from one branch of Christianity. You are welcomed, loved, affirmed, and appreciated in this small Christian minority, and we would love to be part of your faith family. God loves you and do do we! If you are hurting, please feel free to connect with our priest, The Reverend Father Lark Muncy. We would love to meet you just where you are, the way that God interacts with his loving creation. You are Loved, please do not let evil defeat you into believing otherwise, even if it is presented in church shaped package, with a cross on top.
As I lay here tonight, many things come to my mind concerning my ministry and mission here in this new year. I look around my community of the "forgotten poor" and I sometimes get discouraged that numbers and opportunities are at a disadvantage here in this humble place. I am then reminded of some of the places in the world that we consider Holy and instantly I am relieved to know that these places were all small and forgotten too before God transformed their humble nature. Places like Bethlehem, Nazareth, Knock, Lourdes, Walsingham, all humble places hidden from the world yet glorious in their simplicity. Our Lord and Lady chose these little places to show their greatness. "Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?" Can any good thing come out of Kermit? The answer is a resounding, Yes! It is my goal to pray for this tiny community that is small and forgotten, that it might be transformed into a place where God's love and mercy can be witnessed in the people. That it may be witnessed in our love for others. It starts where it started so many years ago, in a tiny house where the incarnation takes place, where God becomes flesh for his people, our tiny chapel dedicated to God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. It is here where we are nourished with the bread of heaven and given the good news to share with the world. It was to Our Lady that this Good News was first given and it is my belief that she teaches all of our souls to magnify the Lord. We have a dear friend who has been writing an icon based on the image of Our Lady of Walsingham and we hope to call her Our Lady of the Hollows as she is depicted at the foot of a mountain. We hope to dedicate this community to her patronage this year as she points us to Our Lord, Jesus Christ, who is the source of the love we need to make a change. Please join us in asking Our Blessed Mother to pray for us here at Holy Trinity Mission, as we continue to bring help, love, acceptance, charity, and compassion to the forgotten poor people of Appalachia. We need your continued prayers, support, donations, and financial contributions to continue this good work that was begun in Christ. Will you start the year off with service to God by making a financial donation to our ministry here in honor of Our Lady? Please make all checks and money orders payable to: Holy Trinity Church 2700 Jennies Creek Road Kermit, WV 25674 We need and appreciate your help!!

From the Vicar: Holy Trinity Anglican Church is a place of love and acceptance for all of God's Children. We strive to build the Kingdom of God among the People of God, by respecting the dignity of every human being, and attempting to reach out in meeting both their spiritual and physical needs, especially among minority groups and those who are" the least of these." We are prepared to make the following statement concerning the current news coming from this Administration concerning the treatment of asylum seeking families and immigrants crossing the US border: It is against the foundations of Christian charity, morality, and teaching to refuse, mistreat, or imprison those seeking refuge from hostility, the right to life in their own countries, or a better life in general. We are instead obligated to do whatever it is, including the breaking of immoral and inhumane laws, to protect and defend the lives of those who are in danger. It is to our knowledge that children are being ripped away from their parents and caregivers for crossing into some imaginary boundaries separating supposed "owned properties." This act is not only disgusting and intolerable, but is certainly an act of child abuse and neglect. We, as Christians, acknowledge that this Earth belongs to our God and Creator, and that no such borders exist in his sight, but his kingdom is one without borders, without walls, and without racist segregation. It is our duty as citizens of his kingdom to see to the needs of all people and to see to their safety, and so we will do whatever is within our power to do so. Jesus who said: "Suffer the little Children to come unto me," also gave warning of offending one of the little ones... We are prepared to continue in our prayers and works to put a stop to this evil treatment and cancer that plagues this country. We will not cease until we see justice for these families, and an end to the recent terror that seeks to attack the image of Christ, who is found in the "least of these." -Father Lark Muncy, Vicar of Holy Trinity Anglican Mission, Kermit, WV.

Hello Friends! It has been a while since our last post. We have been very busy in the summer months with ministry in our little community in the Mountains. Autumn is quickly arriving in the hills and hollows around us and this is a time when our people start preparing for the long hard winters that sometimes settle in the mountains...During this time of the year we start collecting blankets, sheet sets, throws, pillows, toys for children, warm clothing, food, firewood, and kerosene. We ask your help with our mission projects for the coming harsh temperature changes....Many of you are dedicated to helping our little mission and we much appreciate it. Our Faith requires us to Action, While prayers are much welcomed we are commanded to put our WORK with them and do something. Its easy to forget about others in our busy lives and we understand if you have nothing to give, but if you can NOW is the time to act. If you have been waiting to clear your closets and cupboards, or maybe you bought one too many cans of soup, Our families here are most welcoming of anything extra you might have to share... Please help!!! If you can help with a monetary donation it will go toward our Holiday Food and Toy distribution...Thank You and God Bless each of you..Contact Fr. Lark Muncy for more information on how you can help the forgotten people of Appalachia
